Itinerary
DAY 01: PARIYA- PACHMARHI APPROX.: 55 KMS: - Upon arrival at Pipariya railway station, you will be received by our representative who will be there for your welcome. After a warm welcome, transfer to your already booked hotel in Pachmarhi.Pachmarhi, the only hill station of Madhya Pradesh is situated in a valley of the Satpura Range in Hoshangabad district, at a height of 1,067 meters above sea level. State of Central India. Widely known as “Satpura ki Rani” (Queen of Satpura), Pachmarhi also boasts of housing the highest point of Madhya Pradesh, Dhoopgarh (at 1,352 meters above sea level). Pachmarhi has been a part of Satpura Tiger Reserve since the year 2000, and this is the home of many rare species of flora and fauna. Popular for its breathtaking views and waterfalls, this place is a heaven for bird and butterfly watchers. One must visit the Interpretation Centers at Bison Lodge and Dhoopgarh to gain a thorough appreciation of the wonders that Pachmarhi has to offer. Overnight stay.
DAY 02: PACHMARHI: - Morning after having breakfast, proceed to visit Pachmarhi (Non Forest). Visit the following monuments,
1. Jata Shankar Cave is a significant and serene site located near Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh.
2. Handi Khoh is a stunning gorge located near Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh. It’s known for its dramatic landscapes and serene atmosphere.
3. Gupt Mahadev is a significant and picturesque religious site located near Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh.
4. Green Valley in Pachmarhi is a stunning and tranquil spot, known for its lush greenery and breathtaking views.Overnight stay at Pachmarhi.
DAY 03: PACHMARHI: - Morning after having breakfast, proceed to visit Pachmarhi (Forest). Visit the following places,
1. Bee fall: A picturesque waterfall ideal for picnics and photography.
2. Dhoopgarh: The highest point in Madhya Pradesh, offering breath-taking sunset views.
3. Bhojpur Temple: An ancient temple known for its unfinished structure and historical significance.
4. Pandav Caves: Ancient rock-cut caves with mythological connections.Overnight stay at Pachmarhi.
DAY 04: PACHMARHI – KANHA Approx.: 300 Kms: - Morning after having breakfast, check out from the hotel & drive to Kanha.Kanha National Parkis nestled in the Maikal range of Satpuras in Madhya Pradesh, the heart of India that forms the central Indian highlands. Spreading across two revenue districts the Mandala and the Kalaghat, Kanha National Park was declared a reserve forest in 1879 and revalued as a wildlife sanctuary in 1933. Its position was further upgraded to a national park in 1955. The Kanha National Park is spread across the area of 940 sq km in the Maikal chain of hills. By bringing up the buffer and core zone all together, the Kanha Tiger Reserve has the total area of 1945 sq km.
1. Tiger Habitat: Kanha is known for its significant population of Bengal tigers, making it a prime spot for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers.
2. Biodiversity: The park is home to various species, including leopards, Indian wild dogs (dhole), barasingha (swamp deer), and numerous bird species.Arrive hotel and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Kanha.
DAY 05: KANHA: - Morning (6am – 1030 Am) or evening (3pm -530 pm) jungle jeep safari (cost given separately).Overnight stay Kanha Reserve directly takes you to the widespread arena of the lush habitat of wild creatures. With jeep safari an encounter to all these species is really generous and worthwhile. With jungle safari you can take a closer look to the wild animals and can capture their magnanimous images in your cameras.Overnight stay at Kanha.
DAY 06: KANHA – JABALPUR / DEPARTURE APPROX.: 152 KMS: - Morning breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed to Jabalpur & drop at Jabalpur railway station or Airport for your further journey.
